I'm Ally AKA Greener Unions. I'm here to help couples save the planet and save money by incorporating sustainability into their wedding plans.

 

How it began

I started Greener Unions when I realized how much waste is associated with weddings. As I began planning my own wedding, trying to find sustainably-minded vendors and solutions was much more difficult than anticipated, and I was only able to succeed because of my persistence and my background in sustainability. I realized that others were looking for similar assistance in their wedding planning journeys, and thus, Greener Unions was born.

 

Expertise

I have a BA in Environmental Studies and Psychology from Wesleyan University and MBA in Business and Sustainability from the University of Michigan. I also previously worked in marketing, events, and most recently, in corporate sustainability; thus, I felt uniquely positioned to take on this new challenge. I help couples find ways to incorporate sustainability into their weddings in the manners that make the most sense to them, whether that's advising them on a specific topic or helping plan the wedding from start to end. I love helping couples celebrate a joyful and greener future together!​​
